GRESB software: asset data, at portfolio scale
GRESB software gathers asset-level data across a real estate portfolio and prepares it for the annual GRESB assessment.
Most of the score depends on data coverage, so the software job is mainly completeness: every asset, every meter, every certificate.

The score
What does GRESB software need to feed?
A GRESB score is 100 points: Management 30 plus Performance 70 for standing investments, or Management 30 plus Development 70 for development (GRESB).
Green building certifications and energy ratings score on floor-area coverage, not on level (GRESB).
So the software has to track which assets hold which certificate and the floor area each covers, as well as energy, emissions, water and waste.
The cycle
Which GRESB dates should the software track?
The 2026 cycle is complete: final results were released on 1 October 2026 after a review window from 1 to 15 September (GRESB).
GRESB says its Road to Performance changes will be finalised in Q4 2026 and apply from the 2028 Standard, which assesses 2027 data (GRESB).
Claims
Is GRESB software or a GRESB score a certification?
No: GRESB is a paid, self-selecting benchmark, there is no "GRESB certified", and 5 stars is a global quintile rank (GRESB).
By its own account GRESB is an ESG rating provider under the EU ESG Ratings Regulation, and its ratings are not calculated from CSRD data (GRESB).
GRESB does not publish its fees (GRESB).
